Franco Update:

A friend's 106 year old great grandfather attended yesterdays Phillies game. The grandfather said only three times in his 90+ years as a baseball fan had he heard a sound similar to the one that came from Franco's batting practice HR's: Babe Ruth, Josh Gibson and a young Albert Pujols.

Thanks again Gekko for enlightening us to Franco's arrival.

I just wish we were allowed to dip into next years FAAB this year because I am not sure $800+ will roster him.

I am going to bid $31 on the guy. It should be enough.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Second highest bid in Platinum was $66.
No runner-up bid in one of my main events.

However, mission accomplished as there were several crazy bids elsewhere ... usually one guy, sometimes two.

I am sure none of those 14 teams could possibly spend a buck to speculate on him. LOL, that shows that you are fortunate to be in that league more than anything. And if you didn't win, I would like to see your roster. I guarantee you he would belong on it for a buck.

Amazing there is a main event league where he can possibly go for $6. I have to rethink drafting online...they are just as a whole softer leagues.

This post had nothing to do with those outliers. Stupid is stupid.
