Greg,
Will there be any mid-season leagues this year?
Could we try a "Don Mathis" league?

Unfortunately, there will not be a mid-season NFBC league this year. We are currently programming our Cutline Championship style points game so that we can unveil an NFBC Post-Season contest in October. I've very excited about this contest and should have more details in a week or two. I think this has much more potential for us and thus we are pushing a lot of programming resources on this initiative.

If anyone has played our NFFC Post-Season Hold 'Em Contest, then you'll like the look, feel and strategy of this game. It has a progressive scoring setup to the game and it will use our Cutline Championship scoring system, so it will be a great introductory game to next year's Cutline debut. And we've already programmed the look of the contest and it's a duplicate of what you saw with the NFFC Post-Season layout (player photos, % Owned for each player, players by position, etc.). It's going to be very cool.

The Mid-Season Contests just didn't take off the way we had envisioned and at best we may fill 3-5 this year. We struggled to fill the Don Mathis Mid-Season League as well, so again let's push the weekly contests and get this Post-Season contest unveiled early enough for all to learn about the rules. That's our goal. Sorry.
