Obviously there must be some mistake. When I added my name to the live Main Event Thursday afternoon in Las Vegas on March 31st, the league went from wallowing with three owners to a waiting list in a matter of several days. Apparently opportunities to draft in person with an NFBC celebrity such as myself do not come around too often. Then true to form, I add my name to another very short list of competitors to Friday afternoon's Auction Championship the next day, and like magic, yet another NFBC league fills. Even the great Lindy Hinkleman couldn't resist my charm, allure, and other effervescent qualities and had to jump in. However, for some inexplicable reason, this particular live Main Event in NYC is stuck at a mere nine registrants as of today even though I was virtually the first name on the list! Now the only reason I can think of is a lack of proper marketing and exploitation of this league by the management of the NFBC, which I will have my attorneys take up with them shortly, otherwise it should also be filled by now given my esteemed participation. So I am taking to the boards to call attention to this egregious oversight to implore any of you who are planning to be in NYC for the live events that weekend to consider registering for this league. Trust me, I am quite familiar with the competition in this one so far, and all of them will be more than happy to take your donation.

All this being said, I have decided that the next six competitors to sign up for this Main Event to get us to the needed 15 owners will receive the following from me: Three days airfare and accommodations to NYC, limo service to and from the hotel, and all meals included, or absolutely jack shit, my choice. Hey it's worth a shot isn't it for such a memorable evening with me and these other lesser opponents and personalities? So who else wants in for at least the second best live event league of the NYC NFBC weekend?

Greg, I believe at least Eddie Gillis and perhaps Dave Deterra would take a spot in this one if given a heads up about it. Not sure they check these boards often.

Greg, so what's the status of enrollment in this league? I believe there are a few guys from last year who compete again in this one, but I'm not sure they are aware that it's in the offering again this season. Let me know if you need any continued help filling it, and I will just charge you my usual and customary 20% fee.

Just bumping this up. Little surprised we haven't filled this one yet. Got off to a strong start but sign-ups have slowed. The Thursday night Main Event is a great way to kick-off the NYC Weekend. This should be a fun draft and league. Let's make sure we fill it.

I think that it's just woeful and pathetic that this great league (and the first live Main Event of the entire NFBC 2016) has not yet been filled. Greg/Tom, where are all of your marketing/pandering/whoring efforts on this? Dave Deterra at least should be #10 by now. Anyone get the "Mad Scientist" on the phone yet? Tell him his first bottle of orange soda is on me.
