Las Vegas things to do

Post by Donacion » Fri Dec 04, 2015 5:13 pm

Gentleman and Ladies. The Las Vegas minor league team just announced their Big League dreams major league teams that play exhibition spring training games. This the Mets and Cubs are the two teams. Games are scheduled for March 31st and April 1st. No game times yet if my memory serves me both are typically day games. Expect major league prices good seats around $50. I've gone every year I've lived here usually one team brings full squad and the other split. The managers do a good job of playing the stars. Stadium is on Las Vegas Blvd just north of the Downtown casinos. 15 minutes from strip casinos without traffic. Tickets go on sale around February 1st and sell quickly. Stubhub always an option.

I have fond memories of Big League Weekend. I saw Sweaty Freddy Garcia start a game before he made the Majors and one year Sammy Sosa rocketed an exploded bat shard straight at us. Easily the most scared I've ever been at a ballpark and I saw Don Stanhouse try to close a game in person once.

The link Yah Mule provided is what I would have copied. The 702-798-7825 is the number I call. They told me to call around February 1st and they should have information on when tickets go on sale to the public. You should be able to buy them online or from the customer service number I posted. The 51's staff is top notch you'll find them very helpful. I'll keep post updated if I get email updates.
