Next weekend's auction (Feb 19-21)

Post by ToddZ » Fri Feb 12, 2016 1:55 pm

Taking requests...

What day is best? Time?

Price point? (personally prefer $125 in case I need to be an emergency replacement but will run higher)

DC or FAAB?

Discuss -- I'll finalize the format Sunday based on what seems to be the most popular.

And NO -- I have not forgotten about AL and NL only. Will firm up dates sometime this week.

Andy will be doing a $250 w/FAAB on Sunday so maybe a $125 DC?

What's better -- Friday night, Saturday afternoon or Saturday night?

Last one I ran was FAAB so was looking at a DC - but if the masses want FAAB, the masses get FAAB.

We're hoping to get a push for these from the newsletter mention so hopefully we'll be able to run enough to make everyone happy.

I'd be in for a $125 DC.

We did a $125 FAAB today - started at 5 PM ET -- ended about 11:30 or so. Lesson learned is with the 7-man reserve, we need to do the FAAB auctions a little earlier than 7 PM ET so that makes the scheduling a little easier

NEXT WEEK

Friday night, February 19 $125 with FAAB

Saturday afternoon-evening Feb 20 $125 DC

I'll start a thread for each

wow, 6.5 hours seems pretty lengthy

7-man reserves take longer than you think -- that's about 25% of a standard NFBC snake draft

Then factor in "he's already gone, pick again"

and the reserve can take 45-60 minutes

The auction takes 5 - 5 1/2 hours
