Virginia residents?

Post by Espnsc » Tue Mar 08, 2016 2:39 pm

Greg:

What is the status for Virginia residents, myself included, for this year? I was planning on entering another league and I am currently drafting in a DC. Where do I stand? When does the NFBC need to conform to the new law?

Edit: the proposed law is scheduled to go into effect July 1, 2016

We are just learning about this law as is everyone else. I didn't see this one coming any more than you folks did. The law goes into effect July 1st and we are told that there is going to be heavy lobbying to include season-long operators as an amendment, but we have no idea if or when that could happen. We will even look into applying for a license, but not at the current levels the state of Virginia foolishly has set.

Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I'll tell you all I know or you can call me at 715-254-5553.
