NFBC Content Panel: Relief Pitchers

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Jan 30, 2007 4:35 pm

Okay, we'll unveil the last position as ranked by our 15 NFBC Content Panel members tomorrow. I have most of the Top 25 rankings from you guys, but if you haven't sent it yet please do so by noon tomorrow CST. I'll compile the list after that and post it online.

The composite rankings have solicited good response on the boards this offseason and may have even helped some of you with your rankings. It's been fun and has helped Tom and I with our magazine rankings as well. We'll continue with Questions of the Week after the rankings are done, so stay tuned.

Actually, Greg set out his requests on the 1/13 email where he was requesting our catchers, then outfielders, the SP, then relievers.

"Anyway, right now let's close out the positions. By Thursday, give me your Top 25 outfielders. Then I'll need Top 25 starting pitchers and Top 25 relievers the following Tuesday and the following Friday."
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Wayne is right, I put the schedule together on that previous e-mail, but I didn't send an update before this morning. I just sent one out. No worries as we have time to get this last list posted. Tom and I are still knee deep in our final magazine deadline, so no rush on this one guys, even though I can see the next debate heating up when we post the Top 25 closers!! :D
