April 16th Gameday Thread

Just thought I would throw this idea out there. I see in another thread there was interest in having a chat room. How about instead we have a daily thread on the message board to discuss games, players,injuries and any other news of the day. I've seen this idea work well on boards who follow a specific team where a game thread is started and continues until the game ends.

As a Cub fan I hated to see Schwarber go down, but as an owner of Soler glad to see him playing well early!

Felix now 13 bb in 18 IP. Whatever wasn't right late last year, still isn't.

I noticed live scoring has been down today. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Another outing, three more K's for Betances.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
