Again this morning, Cutline is not assigning players correctly. What is the explanation? Does the Cutline programming code not recognize multi position eligibility players like Danny Valencia?
Cutline assigned Jay Bruce (10 points) to the OF position
Cutline assigned Danny Valencia (23 points) to the 3B position
Cutline assigned Nolan Arenado (25 points) to the CI.
Cutline assigned Chris Carter (19 points) to the Bench.
Since Danny Valencia has OF eligibility, the following should have happened but didn't:
Nolan Arenado - (25 points) 3B
Danny Valencia - (23 points) OF
Chris Carter - (19 points) CI
Jay Bruce - (10 points) Bench

Have YOU emailed Greg or Tom?
they can't be expected to be on the message boards every day, all day

Re: 2nd day in a row Cutline not assigning players correctly
If I send an email, once I send it, it is gone. I don't know if the person ever received, opened it, or if they just chose not to answer it.
If I post it on the message board:
I can edit it if I need to
There is a public record of my concerns
Others, who may or may not be affected by it, can respond to it and be made aware of the problem
Others may have the answer to my concerns
Others can see how Greg or Tom responded
As far as this and yesterday's post, Greg was on the board yesterday after I posted it and chose not to respond (but responded to another post about setting post All Star lineups) and he was logged in when I posted this today and chose not to respond.

Have to agree here. A paying customer has a right to voice an opinion especially if it involves a deficiency that impacts an investment or expenditure. That is why we have consumer review websites such as yelp, etc. I also believe in handling matters privately, however in some instances and depending on the issue, public exposure generates a larger impact to make things move alot faster. We can't forget that although the NFBC may have integrity, the inefficiencies of other fantasy organizations have generated a jaded view of our industry that we have to work through.TRAIN wrote:If I send an email, once I send it, it is gone. Unless I'm misunderstanding as long as everything is set up properly when the scoring period has ended that would be the most important aspect. If there is an issue once the scoring period has ended let us know and we'll get that fixed. But if this is something that is ongoing we will forward it to tech and ask them to investigate.

Tom - Although you are right that the main statistics that count are the ones published at the end of each weekly period on Monday morning, most of us like to check our teams on a daily basis and expect those daily statistics to be correct as well.
When the Cutline system can't assign some of the Starters and Bench players correctly based on optimal points, as I pointed out above, it just looks bad and does not inspire confidence in the system. Even though it may be inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, it should be fixed.
Greg said that he wants the NFBC players to be the quality control for the contests. Just doing my job (unpaid for by the way)

Email me an example of the team with the league name and I'll send it to tech to take a look. Thanks.
