"Oh, so now me and Mr. Toodles are Commies, you fucker, Massotto?! Just wait...just you wait. We shall have our revenge! You are no match for me and my cat army! And my revenge on you will be CAT-O-Strophic! Muuuhahahahaha!
Now where was I? Oh, yes, what a great a thing this is going to be this year.
News has already begun to leak out as the East Coast whales have already begun contacting me wanting in for a shot at the big money in their own backyard. The likes of Steve "Glue Factory" Juprinka, Scott "Mr. Mom" Fleming, and Glenn "Cool Jew" Lowry have already crawled out of hibernation to announce their intentions to compete again in the MTM after their absences from the competition as charter members for various totally bullshit reasons. And sorry Lowry. It's the best I could come up with on short notice. But trust me, it's a lot better than what we call you behind your back now.

So here's the deal:
There will be the usual first rate festivities that I have cooked up including the superior celebrity draft facilitation by Adam Ronis of the SiriusXM and the RotoExperts in the morning. There will again be the famous "Iron Balls" KDS draw right before the start of the draft when draft positions are decided live and on the spot just like they should be for all true pros of this game. And of course, there will also be a host of other personal touches and perks that I will be adding as usual to spice up the evening's festivities even more, as if they needed anymore spicing. But hey, that's just the kind of fun-loving, son-of-a-bitch that I am as Greg and Tom will attest to given how much joy and happiness I bring to their lives each baseball season. It's the gift that just keeps on giving.

Right?! Who's with me on this?

And let's not forget that there will be the awarding of the prestigious MTM 2016 League Champion Trophy to our newly crowned champion, Mike Mager. Mike obliterated the field in his rookie season in the league by taking down the title by the largest margin of victory ever in the history of the league, a whopping 17 points! And it wasn't even that close. He will be back this year to defend his crown, even though there has yet to ever be a repeat champion in this league which tells you a lot about the elite level of competition in this league year in and year out.
And of course there's the after party at Rosie O'Grady's for some late night steak and beverages immediately following the draft which is open as always to all NFBC NYC competitors in town that weekend who would like to attend. The thread on this will be up as we get closer to the start of the season.
Below is a list of this year's competitors as it now stands with the waiting list of alternates to follow as I hear back from last years competitors. Should there be any openings, you will be notified by me or Greg directly. So if you want in again from last year, let me know ASAP if you're still interested in keeping your spot in this amazing competition of some of the best players and best guys in the NFBC.

One FInal Note: Last year, SiriusXM did an amazing job covering this draft live, and had a lot of us on before and during the competition. Good times were had by all, and it made for some great radio. They should be back again this year as the media hoopla around this event is even more deserved than ever!
