100 Draft Champions Leagues And Counting

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Feb 14, 2017 8:40 am

Just a heads up that we sold out our 100th Draft Champions League this morning. We now have 93 $150 DC leagues, 6 $400 DCs and 1 $1,000 DC. We will continue to offer the DCs at 8 hours per pick through Thursday, March 9th and will then offer 4-Hour DCs and DC Express leagues after that. Should be a wild time during these last 47 days.

Prizes for the Draft Champions National Championship are based on 195 leagues or 2,925 teams. We are certainly on pace to reach that goal, so don't delay if you want to secure a spot in an upcoming league. Should be a fun, busy time down the stretch.

We have 40+ Draft Champions leagues drafting right now, so many of you are busy in these drafts. We're selling out about 2-3 leagues per day and we have an aggressive lineup in late March for the DC Express Leagues. It looks like another record year for this format, so thanks everyone.

Now get back to drafting!!!

Yesterday was one of those crazy days when the signups just kept pouring in and most of them were for Draft Champions Leagues. We filled four $150 Draft Champions Leagues yesterday and took a few $400 and $1000 signups as well. Counting the ones we filled yesterday, we now have 45 Draft Champions leagues currently drafting. Pretty cool.

The demand for these DCs is at an all-time high and it shows that with even better technology this format can grow and grow. We know what needs to be done there and we look forward to the new draft software in 2018. Making it easier for you to make each pick and to set your Que in multiple rounds is all part of what can make the DCs even more popular.

Enjoy the drafting season everyone and if you're not in a DC right now then jump on in. Everyone else is in the draft room.

.

Of the 45 leagues drafting, how many times did someone select Alex Reyes and then hit the Help button asking to change their pick?

These injuries/car accidents keep biting us in the butt.

I can only think of one person that would do that.

Before we even hit lunch today, we sold out:

1 - $150 Draft Champions League
1 - $150 Draft Champions League (4 Hours)
1 - $150 Draft Champions Express League
1 - $400 Draft Champions league

That was before noon today. The demand for these DCs is at an all-time high and we're about 10 leagues ahead of last year's pace at this time. We can't wait to improve the software next year for these, allow you to make picks from your phone and really make these enjoyable to play. But right now all we can say is thanks and enjoy.

Hi Greg, you mention that the prizes are based on 195 leagues and we are well on pace to reach that. Can you provide some transparency around how surplus prize money taken in is distributed for the Overall payouts?

Thank you

Great job last week everyone in the Draft Champions format. In the last week we filled up 19 $150 DC leagues, 2 $400 DC leagues and 1 $1,000 DC. Let's hope this next week produces even better results!! Keep 'em coming. We have a few more weeks for these.
