Been playing fantasy since 1990. This is my first try at a big moeny league. Do $650 mixed leagues in the Bronx right now as well as this one.

Who is the favorite in this Motley Crue.

Has there been a winner here in any auction leagues , ultimates or main events.

If Vegas was putting out odds [or me].

The two favorites are Jeff DOBIES , who has been in many leagues right from the 1st auction in 2004.Also David Zwickel who has kicked some serious ass in football, and does play the baseball.Other guys at 4 to 1 Chris Troop and Ed O'Donnell, Ed won a satillite league last year, as i saw his mug in the magazine.

My two sleepers at 7 to 1 are Scott Simonetti who tied me in a league last year, and Gordon Gekko who has done battle with the boys fromVEGAS. Good luck to all.

Excellent point Gordon...I was lazy on this one...let me do a better job on the bio...

Mark DiMondo

I'm 36 and born in New Rochelle. I am an 8th grade Math teacher in Westchester, NY.(Harrison) I've been married for 5 years and just moved to Stamford, Ct. No little ones running around yet.

I started in NL and AL only keeper leagues and went to mixed non-keeper leagues about 8 years ago. Hate keeper leagues now because the draft should be on an even playing field. I've been playing in some very competitive 17 team mixed leagues down the Bronx and have done well. I am not the type to list titles. All I'll say is I've been lucky enough to win before.

OK fellas...now it's your turn. It would be awesome if we could get all 15 owners in here.

Ok,

First of all, Eddie, thanks for handicapping me this is a tough competition with some of the very best players in the world and it is an honor to get rated with them.

I don't know the guys on the list well (atleast I only know their screen names, not their real names). I am looking forward to trying seeing everyone.

As for a bio:

Let's see: I live in NYC with my wife of 4 years and we are expecting our 1st child. I was in management consulting for many years and recently left consulting to do business development for TD Ameritrade (I am trying to get TD to sponsor NFBC next year). I got started playing fantasy baseball 10 years ago with a project team and we still play to this day an ESPN league. My best finish in NFBC is a 2nd place in last years mixed LV auction.

Good luck to all and I hope everyone has a great BB draft (just not in this league !)

Gordon Gekko Bio

I'm in my 30's. Morning job is a paper route. Day job is water delivery. ;)

I have a bad habit of getting too cocky before these types of events. I know I'm the smartest person sitting at the draft table, but the last auction I went to, I did so without any dollar amounts, partly because I wanted to prove to myself that I was smart enough to succeed while being unprepared. Needless to say, that didn't work out.

I don't have a lot of baseball auction experience, so i'll be especially bidding on the players that Eddie G's morning line favorites look to acquire on draft day.

I am also not the type of person to list titles.

This will be my third season in NFBC.

I was born a poor... :D

Early 30's...just got engaged in December...

I was in the $650 mixed league last year. Had a great start, led through more than first half, collapsed and ended in 5th (maybe 4th?). Anyway, I enjoy auctions a lot more than drafts.

As for Eddie's handicap, I agree with Zwickel being good. He was one that leap frogged me last year...I would place myself in middle of the pack, but have no problem being labeled the "longshot." Afterall, I did bring up the rear in the Ultamite Draft last year...

Know some of you...and have to say, there are some genuinely nice owners in this league...even Gekko  I guarantee those who have not met him, will enjoy his commentary during the draft.

How could you not like someone who blurts out, "I hate this f***ing guy!" and then selects Bob Wickman in the main event. Classic! (Unless my memory is fading and that was someone else? )

Poopy Tooth,

I was going to start with the same quote from the Jerk, then decided to be politically correct

Congrats on the engagement. Where do you live? NY?

Thank you. I live in New Jersey. My father was in the military and I actually moved around a lot, lived in California, Texas and North Carolina. Originally from NJ, moved back after college.

Just finishing up my rankings for this year. Hopefully the time invested will pay off!

Sounds like it will be a lot of fun. It looks like some experienced, well-prepared owners. I am glad because waiting forever for an owner to call out a player or watching an owner call out 3 players who already got called out is a major draft 'buzz kill'. I am sure it will be a smooth running auction. I cannot wait for 16 days from now.

You'll love it Mark. It's my favorite part of the NFBC. Personally, auctions are a lot of fun to me. Good luck and I'll see everyone there!

YOUR SLEEPER PICK GORDON GEKKO...

My two sleepers at 7 to 1 are Scott Simonetti who tied me in a league last year, and Gordon Gekko who has done battle with the boys fromVEGAS. WHO ADMITS HE HAS LITTLE EXPERIENCE IN AUCTION...

don't have a lot of baseball auction experience, so i'll be especially bidding on the players that Eddie G's morning line favorites look to acquire on draft day.

IS AS SOLID OF A SLEEPER AS WES HELMS...

HE HAS NO CHANCE!

ANYONE CAN TAKE THE BEST PLAYER AVALIABLE ON THE BOARD. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO AN AUCTION.
