Last 8-Hour Draft Champions Start: Thursday, March 9th

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Feb 17, 2017 11:10 am

We are having another record year with the Draft Champions Leagues, but all good things must come to an end. Just a heads up that we'll continue to take signups for the 8-Hour Draft Champions Leagues through Thursday, March 9th. If we close off signups that day, that will give owners 23 days to finish their drafts. That's more than enough time for those leagues.

After that we will continue to offer DCs with a 4-Hour clock and the Draft Champions Express Leagues. We are going to offer the DC Express leagues every day of that final week leading up to Opening Day. Enjoy those and plan ahead if you want to compete in those leagues.

Again, thanks for all the support when it comes to those Draft Champions Leagues. We look forward to a great season and can hardly wait for updated draft software next year that will really propel this format. Good luck all and enjoy.

Just a reminder that we have 8 days counting today left in the Draft Champions National Championship 8-Hour format. Our last league will form next Thursday, March 9th and no league will start after March 10th. We will still offer a few 4-Hour leagues and DC Expresses after that, but this format ends next Thursday.

It's been a great DC season, but we need 3 full weeks to complete these. If any of those leagues that start next week happen to get close to Opening Day we will shorten the clocks as needed. All of these leagues will be finished by Sunday, April 2nd.

Good luck all and enjoy the format this next week. After that it will be time to draft, draft, draft every night leading up to Opening Day.

Okay this is the last week that we take signups for the NFBC $150 Draft Champions Leagues with an 8 hour clock. We already have over 160 DCs with a goal of selling out 195 leagues. We will fill a bunch of DC Express Leagues those last two weeks, so I think our goal is within reach. Thanks all for a great year of drafting.

We will close out signups on Thursday for these 8 hour leagues. We will offer 4 hour and DC Express Leagues after that, but no more at 8 hours per pick. We might close it off Wednesday, but I think we can go one more day. We'll see.

Don't wait too long if you want to play in this format. Thanks all and good luck.

Okay, today is possibly the last day for the NFBC 8-Hour Draft Champions League. I really would like to start these tomorrow at the latest. Let's fill up these last ones today and move on from this format. Sound good?

Last call for alcohol when it comes to the 8-Hour Draft Champions League. Who's in?

Thanks all for another fantastic Draft Champions season. We are approaching 170 full leagues with the DC Express leagues still to go. We're on pace for another sellout here. Thanks and good luck.
