Finishing this tonight.
Record time.
I've done 100's of NFBC Drafts. This one ranks up there with the best.
Competitive, intelligent picks, great chat, everybody responsible and respectful of the 14 other drafters.
Awesome.

And that was with an overnight time out last night.
Wonderful draft.

We should make an effort to get that same group together every year! Can't believe we finished in 2.5 days!

NFBC history made again last night with the completion of this one in breaking a record that had stood for three years. Thanks Dan for taking the lead on Fast DC #6. We definitely saved the best for last! What made this one even more amazing was all the newbies who were able to hang with the vets and had such a great time doing it. 8-) Everyone acquitted themselves quite nicely. Would do it again in a heartbeat with these great owners again next year, but for now, I am officially burned out from my facilitating duties this season. Looking forward to all of the live drafts in NY and Las Vegas in this year. MTM out!

And P.S. Greg, what has been learned from this thread and what can we expect next year in terms of improvements to be made to this format to make it better, more fun, and as good as it could be for all players who enroll in these, not just the "fast drafters?"

Great job everyone and I'm glad you had fun. I'm also glad we have the setup to just get 15 like-minded people in the same league at a minute's notice, start the draft the next day and finish in 58 hours. It proves it's the people who make these leagues work perfectly more than the technology. Great job to Dan and everyone in this league who wanted a faster pace.

We certainly have enough time left in the off-season to do another one of these if you'd like. But more than anything I'm glad more people are finding the right formats for them. Dan ran six of these, we had four 4-Hour DCs and the DC Expresses are filling at a record pace. Not everyone wants the faster pace, but it's great that we have options available for those who do.

Great job everyone and good luck to all who are still participating in this format.

What a great draft! I almost wish it was a little longer, lol.

Had fun talking with you guys along the way. Good luck to you in the Main & all your other leagues. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you in NY or Vegas in a year or two.

I'm not sure Mike has another 500 texts in him this year.

Funny...a certain radio host was going off today about people in his league intentionally burning their time clock in Spring Training waiting for information. Brutal

.

When a guy in round 7 of your DC picks near the turn and his next pick comes up within 60 seconds...and he logs out for hours.

Wonderful draft.
They need a DC school for newbie slow drafters.
Instead of 24 rounds in 2 hours, we are seeing 2 rounds in 24 hours.

2 rounds in 24hrs, the pace in the last week of my current DC, we can only dream of that type of progress.

The only 3 givens in life:
1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Every year there are a few bad drafters, and every year, the same MB thread comes back, like clockwork.

Improvements have been suggested over the years and haven't happened. Maybe next year with the new software company running things, they can come up with a solution.
For now....gotta deal with it, guys.
