Sorry, but Tampa finished a distant fourth...

Don, I am in Sarasota, FL. It is a 45 min drive to Tampa. I used to drive to Hard Rock and play the single table hold 'em tournaments, until Sarasota Dog Track opened their poker room. So now I teach at the High School, drive to the dog track , play a tourney, and get to the college where I teach Mon-Thurs nights. I usually play 2 days a week, $45 buy in, 11 player toruneys. Pays top 2, $210 and $142. 71% payout, not great, but not bad. It is not like Greg and Tom's 82-83% payout. That is why I like to do these as well. Bruce

My Decisionist friend from Parts Unknown, I am still shoveling 15 inches of snow and don't have the energy or the time to even dream about Phoenix or a sellout!! :D From the igloo I now call home, I can't even imagine green grass, Corona's or that thing they call baseball. Nothing but ice balls, frozen smoothies and cold franks here my friend!!!

The signups will stay open this weekend just for the thrill of rubbing it into Zaleski with each joyous vibration of the Blackberry. But the weatherman says another big storm is headed here Thursday night and Friday and if I get grounded because of snow I may be in permanent depression. I'm thinking about taking a flight to Phoenix TODAY to avoid that snowstorm. The baseball gods wouldn't do that to me now, would they??

We're out to win TWO LABR League titles this year. Watch out for the Ambrosius-Zaleski team. We're going off at 10-1 odds and the Decionist is smart enough to take us, right? :D

get out while you can, i cant imagine a "possibility" of missing the labr drafts, time with zeleski well..... thats debateable. hey, all great news on the nfbc front. wow, i am impressed but not suprised. i knew you had the winning formula 2 years ago with 195. i knew this would go nowhere but up. a testament to all krause employees but especially you and tom. great job guys!!! and lets keep riding the wave. the badgers, 360 plus in nfbc, dyv's back, spring training news. cmon march, i am ready to butt some heads and draft!!!

i am down for a hundy on the ambrosius-zaleski team @ 10-1 as long as zaleski doesnt open his mouth. i piece of advice dont go crazy on c. hart. 3-5 tops!!!

Tom, I was studying your expert draft - I loved how you started, but the end wasn't as strong. Make sure not to draft so many geezers in LABR!!

Now ya'll got me scared. I am not opening any mail between now and when I leave for Tampa! ;)
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
