Top 100 Players For Free Insurance From NFBC & FSI

For the last 8 years we have offered Free Insurance to anyone who pays for their Main Events, Auction Championships, AL/NL Auctions or $1500 OC Plus leagues by check, cash or money order. We save money on credit card expenses and you get free insurance on one player. Both sides win!!

If the player you designated for insurance spends 60 or more days on the Disabled List Fantasy Sports Insurance will pay you 20% of your entry fee. So last year if you designated Prince Fielder for insurance in the Main Event you would have received a check for $320 from FSI at the end of the season because Fielder missed most of the season with a neck injury. Others who qualified for insurance last year included Clayton Kershaw, Kyle Schwarber and Matt Harvey.

Again, you had to have paid by check, cash or money order and just for the leagues listed above.

Okay, you have until April 8th to give me your selection via email. Just email me the contests and the players you are insuring for each contest. I'll keep track of everything and then send the spreadsheet to Henry at FSI. You can pick anyone from the Top 100 list below, but if someone goes down with injury on April 6th don't be sending me his name on April 8th. You needed to pick him before the injury. Now let's roll.

Sorry to be a pain but can you tell us for future seasons using the eWallet to hold over winnings would using winnings to pay for such events then also include free insurance? It seems that it should but I don't want to assume anything.

Just a reminder that you have through Sunday of this week to email me the players you want to insure if you paid by check, cash or money order. The leagues you can insure include:

Main Event
Auction Championship
$1500 or $750 Online Championship Plus

Just email the league and the player you want insured at

You must do this before Sunday night of this week. Again, you also must have paid by check, cash or money order. Oh, and the players must be among the Top 100 above. If a player gets hurt before you send in this request you CAN'T insure that player, so get your email to me soon.
