1.100 OPS! Your BP comparables would include Frank Thomas, Lou Gerhig and Albert Pujols.

How it tranlates to the low minors I don't know. I graduated from Florida Southern College a perrenial Div III powerhouse in baseball with several national champioships. Despite a student population of around 2000 (smaller than my high school)when I was there. We did send several players to the majors over the years. Some include Greg Prior, Andy Mcgaffigan, John Hudek (who I went to school with), and current Brent Tomko. There were others also as well as several pro golfers including Lee Jansen (also went to scholl with). So it doesn't matter if you went to a small school a pro contract is still possible. Even in community college. I went to Moron, I mean Morton college in the early 80's and played against Lance Johnson and Kirby Puckett from the national champion Triton community College. Didn't know who they were then of course. Only that they were good. I believe I struck out Johnson, but he made it to first on a passed ball strike 3 (went right between the catchers legs on the fly). He then stole second, third, and home against me. I couldn't hold runners to save my life. I still say he was out at home, but that's another story. If your asking whether your good enough to go pro, I would suggest going to some tryouts that may be held in your area or showing up at the nearest minor league ballpark and try to talk some of the scouts that are almost alwayse there for an evaluation if they are open to it. It would be hard to do, but sometimes persistance is the differance. Don't give up if you think you can do it. My experience was, it sure helps if you can run relatively fast if your a position player. It really gets their attention, even if they haven't seen your other abilities. They're usually not overly impressed by hitters that can't do anything else cause there's lots of those. Good luck and go out there and make it happen.
