After seeing how what this thread devolved into, I almost hate to bring it back to life, but my initial point needs to be reiterated after our first weekend of live drafts.

I noticed several live drafters who not only brought iPads with them to the live drafts to see the draft boards, but some owners also had the online draft room open during the drafts. That's a nice feature addition this year. I'm not sure everyone wants to use that, but it's available for the first time.

Where we really saw a nice change was when we actually had to team up with drafters who weren't live with us. We had 3 owners online in both Las Vegas Main Events and they each just made their picks online and it was a smooth and uninterrupting process. We will need to do that for some Supers this weekend and I can tell you that it works seamlessly. We didn't have anyone on the phone as the online guys saw exactly what we saw in Las Vegas.

That's going to be nice for anyone who for whatever reason can't make it to the live events but still wants to be involved, which happens at times in the Super, Ultimate and even the Diamond League. And if we can't fit the Main Event perfectly, we now have an easy way to log someone into the draft room with us and not miss a beat.

Love this new setup for those reasons. Thanks again to our online guys yesterday. You were great and we drank the beer we had set aside for you here....and then some more!!

I like this idea, Mike. How many live baseball drafters? 500? At $10/shirt you could actually print something nice. $5,000 would seem to be a minimal marketing line item to the budget. Plus, I would think you could easily find a sponsor or two that would underwrite the cost.
