Happy Opening Day Everyone!!
This is the first time since the NFBC was launched in 2004 that Major League Baseball will be starting its season with all 30 teams playing on a Thursday. As a result, there may be some confusion to the Week 1 scoring period. I will address that here today and we'll include this in an email to all NFBC players tomorrow morning.
Week 1 is no different than any other scoring period in the NFBC. It will be:
Monday-Thursday (even there are only Thursday games)
Friday-Sunday (you can replace hitters in your starting lineup as long as the positions match)
Now one game has already been postponed because of weather. If you have any hitters from that game, you can take them out on Thursday and put them back in on Friday as long as you have a legal lineup. Hope that helps.
At the All-Star break, this scoring would be the same if there are Thursday games this year. Hope this helps.
Good luck everyone and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

Here’s a puzzler for you:
If we have a hitter whose team is off Friday in an active roster spot, can he be replaced Saturday with another player whose team did not play Friday?
That’d be a first, I think

All players lock on Friday even if they don't play that day.Deadheadz wrote:Here’s a puzzler for you:
