Christopher Chaloux Leads NFBC Cutline After 1st Week

A total of 344 teams advanced to the Championship Round of the NFBC Cutline Championship in the battle for the $70,000 grand prize in our Best Ball national contest. Christopher Chaloux of Boston, Massachusetts entered the Championship Round ranked 16th with a 647.7 point scoring average, but then took the lead with 492 points from Thursday through Sunday. He leads with 1,140 point, just 7 points ahead of David Longood with Shawn Childs, Eric Albright and Matt Jensema rounding out the Top 5. There are three more full weeks left in this first round of the Cutline's Championship Round before we cut the field down to 95 teams. Good luck all.

Here's the current standings with three full weeks left. All of the Championship Round teams that finish below the Cutline (Top 95) will move to the Wild Card Tier for the second round.

Ninety-five other teams will advance to the second round of the Wild Card Tier with a chance to still move back up to the Championship Round and compete for the $70,000 grand prize.
