Re: The First FAST DC of 2020: FAST DC TITMOUSE; 11/5; 2:00 PM EST
Sorry about the delay guys. We are making one change to our servers that was initiated late Monday night and took a bit longer than expected. We should have an update on this today. Look for an update from Tom today and hopefully we will be drafting very soon. Thanks all.

Anything?
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

We're still testing a few more things out so we don't have any problems with registration and the subsequent draft that will start like 0.05 seconds later. Please hang tight...we want to go live as much as you want us to go live.
Re: The First FAST DC of 2020: FAST DC TITMOUSE; 11/5; 2:00 PM EST
Hey Darik is this a today thing or a tomorrow thing? Just wanting to make plans
Thanks
Re: The First FAST DC of 2020: FAST DC TITMOUSE; 11/5; 2:00 PM EST
This is no concern to you. Our job is to wait for hours, days or weeks if needed and await word.
No seriously though, any word on if this may happen today or another day? I'm sure all league members are trying to plan around this.

Re: The First FAST DC of 2020: FAST DC TITMOUSE; now SUNDAY 11/10, 11:00 A.M EST
Hey boys, I'm going to make a command decision on this, so Greg/Tom/Darik, please take note. It's obvious that the launch of the draft room right now is tenuous at best, and hour to hour as things get resolved with IT. So rather all of us just remaining in a holding pattern with no predictable registration and start time (and limiting the continual blow ups of my phone in the process), I'm moving the start time of this one until this Sunday, November 10th at 11:00 a.m. EST.. There are already a couple of guys who reached out to me and said that they have conflicts as this has gotten pushed later into the week which would slow things down and make the ability to keep up with the pace and a two-hour pick clock (which will never come into play in this one, by the way ) a challenge. So if anyone has any issues or conflicts with this change, please let me know, and I can hook you up for the FAST DC 2. And no worries, I have at least two alternates waiting in the wings to step in for guys that can't make a Sunday start time work. Just text me directly to let me know either way. I'll have plenty of time to line up everyone by Sunday so we still have a full league if anyone cant' pull it off. This change to Sunday will give Greg and company to work out all the bugs, and have the launch go hopefully a lot smoother come Sunday. It will also give us two big days of out of the gate with Monday being Veterans Day and many of us having off. Thanks for your patience and looking forward to kicking things off in high gear come Sunday!

The site is live but since you want to push things back that will be set up. Everyone who is on the list please sign up for the Nov. 10 11 am ET league when you see it on registration. The sooner everyone signs up the easier it will be to prevent anyone not on the list from signing up by mistake. Thanks.

Re: The First FAST DC of 2020: FAST DC TITMOUSE; 11/5; 2:00 PM EST
First day in the books of FAST DC #1 Titmouse, and just another killer day at the office with almost 25 rounds of enthusiastic, motivated, and mostly skilled drafting by some of the best competitors in the NFBC. This is the way to have a draft! Great communication and good times in the chat room. Looking to wrap things up today, and I may just take to doing a postmortem on the results when all is said and done. And if you missed out on Titmouse, not to worry! Fast DC #2 Paper Tiger will be forming soon and right on it's heels.

Might want to include a postmortem on Vogel's team as a public service, showing people how NOT to draft.Baseball Furies wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 2:25 amFirst day in the books of FAST DC #1 Titmouse, and just another killer day at the office with almost 25 rounds of enthusiastic, motivated, and mostly skilled drafting by some of the best competitors in the NFBC. Re: The First FAST DC of 2020: FAST DC TITMOUSE; 11/5; 2:00 PM EST
Well, FAST DC #1: TITMOUSE is in the books. It came in at a tidy 35 and half hours and change in banging out 50 rounds of drafting with some of the best of the best in the NFBC. Great bunch of guys, and even popped the cherry of a newbie to one of these without too much blood. Greg likes to post the first six rounds of these, but I'm going to throw up the first 10 rounds (anonymously of course) for each of the 15 owners in this league to get your feedback and for your viewing pleasure. In the meantime, thanks to all who participated for a great draft, and stay tuned for the roll out FAST DC #2: Paper Tiger coming soon!
