Free Agent Players List Purge

I happen to be poking around a few on my leagues last night just to check on the availability of player or two who may not have been drafted in an OLC league I just completed, and was surprised to see that there are A TON of players in the free agent player pool who are no longer playing/active for one reason or another. Is this list going to be purged prior to the start of the season? Thanks.

Mike, we have every player imaginable in the player pool because you and others wanted to avoid using Placeholders in our deep Draft Champions leagues. Even recently retired players are still in the pool because there's always one person who takes a flyer in Round 50 on him hoping for a return. We have avoided Placeholders for the most part this year and thus the player pool will remain as it is through FAAB on Sunday, March 29th. After that only players on the 26-man MLB roster will be in the player pool.

So no purging until then.
