Alex Gordon 1B?

If Alex Gordon can find his stroke he could have added value as it looks like he is creeping towards 1B eligibility. He already has 4 games played there - 3 of them as late inning defensive replacement? - so here's to 6 more games at 1B and a return to his natural hitting ways.

This is true Doughboy. It's amazing what wishful thinking can do for my fantasy blues. Now if only Wes Helms could hit 30 prorated over 150 games, Pat Burrell could revert to his .250 ways but still hit some hrs, Luis Castillo could swipe 25 more, etc. Without hope I am left with empty box scores and that just wont get me through the day.

So come on Alex Gordon give my squad and KC something to cheer about.
