Win $30,000 & $15,000 In The 2025 NFBC Diamond Challenge

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Dec 13, 2024 1:22 pm

One of the industry's premiere contests will be returning in 2025 as the NFBC will unveil the Diamond Challenge Roto and Points contests on Monday, December 16th. We just opened Registration for those two contests today, but all player salaries for those contests will be published on Monday. A final salary "tweak" will take place in early February and those will be the final salaries for 2025.

The Diamond Challenge is one of the oldest national fantasy baseball championships, going back all the way to 1993. It started as Carol's Fantasy Baseball, became The Sporting News Diamond Challenge and then the USA Today Diamond Challenge, with a $50,000 grand prize. CDM ran the contest for several years before selling to SportsHub Games Network in 2016.

This contest is now under the NFC umbrella for baseball and football and we are happy to announce the contest today. The Diamond Challenge Roto contest has a $400 entry fee with no other costs during the season and a guaranteed grand prize of $30,000. the Diamond Challenge Points contest has a $250 entry fee with no other costs during the season and a guaranteed grand prize of $15,000.

Links to both contests can be found here:

We are offering an Early Bird Discount for both contests through January 15th. Sign up now and you can get $30 off per Diamond Challenge Roto team and $20 off per Diamond Challenge Points team. You can also sign up now and not pay until Feb. 15th if you'd like. We also will have 2-Packs and 3-Packs under Special Packages on Registration.

We pay the Top 3 teams in each 15-team league and we'll pay the Top 14 overall in the Diamond Challenge Roto and the Top 10 overall in the Diamond Challenge Points. Both are salary-cap based games where you fill out a roster using the player salaries to fit under the cap. Moves are limited throughout the year, so create that winning roster early and then make moves that help your teams throughout the season.

Check out the rules links for full details. Leagues form as signups come in, so get signed up and put that winning roster together. Thanks all and good luck.
