Just a heads up that the NFBC Best Ball Cutline Championship is headed toward a sellout after two straight years of falling well below goal. We currently have 83 full leagues and 924 teams entered with a goal of reaching 1,000 teams and 100 leagues. We'll get there and possibly go beyond that, adding to the overall prize pool.

We stated earlier this year that our goal was to sell this contest out this year and then grow it each year after this. It would be great to max out this contest and then grow it beyond those numbers in 2026, getting the grand prize higher if possible. The 2025 NFBC Cutline Best Ball Championship is nearing a sellout, which is exactly what we wanted to have happen this year after not selling out this contest during each of the last three years. We now have 89 full leagues and over 950 signups with a goal of reaching 100 leagues and 1,000 teams. We can hit those numbers and then some over these last seven days.

We have three leagues that can sell out today as the 7 pm, 9 pm and 11 pm leagues have nice starts to the day. Let's keep things rolling and push this contest into the right direction for future years. Thanks.

We'll honor the remaining available leagues with signups, but we can not go above 1,100 teams. Get in soon if you want to compete for the $50,000 grand prize. Our goal was to sell out this game again and then increase prizes next year and the year after that and so on and so on. I think we accomplished our goal this year and the Cutline format is here to stay!!!

SOLD OUT: I'm happy to report that the NFBC Cutline Championship officially sold out last night when our 100th league filled. The goal was 1,000 teams and 100 leagues and we hit that last night.

We really wanted to sell out this contest this year and then grow it each year from this point. We still have a few leagues remaining and could max out at 1,100 teams and 110 leagues. My plan is to use any additional prize money to reward the top team(s) from the regular season, something we haven't done in the past.
