NFBC Implementing A No Cut List

Post by Tom Kessenich » Mon Mar 31, 2025 2:09 pm

The NFBC now has a No Drop List that is being instituted throughout the season. It was initially comprised of the first 30 players from the final Main Event ADP list at playnfbc.com/adp and will be monitored and adjusted weekly throughout the NFBC season. This list is being created to prevent "star" players from being dropped accidentally, which has happened in the past. The players on this list cannot be dropped while on the list.

I hope people realize that we are implementing this No Cut List for the first time in NFBC history because we are trying to reduce the amount of mistake cuts during FAAB. It doesn't happen often, but even one time is too much.

We realize that more and more of you are making moves on your phones or smaller devices and it's easy to click the button NEXT to the guy you are trying to cut. Mistakes can happen, but with this No Cut List hopefully the system will prevent you from cutting Trea Turner instead of Justin Turner. The fewer mistakes that go through the better.

Now the downside is that we have to stay on top of this list every week because some of these Top 30 guys will be cuttable at some point this season, and some guys outside the Top 30 will be invaluable and need to be moved into that list. Our guys will stay on top of this and update where needed. It's not going to be perfect, but if we can reduce the mistakes in half or even more, it will be good for everyone. Let's see how it works. Thanks all.
