Where do we go to see what the winning bid was for each player etc. There should be one simple place to follow what happened on the Free agent Market

Im confused - as it looks like no one got Milton Bradley in our NL auction league and I know I bid too much. If I didnt get him, fine - let me see who did.
Are they updated yet?

I'm checking into the Bradley situation, Jesse. Not sure what's up there. I have asked STATS to see if we can get one clear free agent page for all to see. Again, we'll keep improving as we go along.

STATS re-ran the NL Auction League results and Bradley should be on there. I have no idea what he went for, but good luck to all.

In the NFBC FAAB, is there any way of finding out the amount of the winning bids for the free agent pickups?

We had a miscommunication between STATS and myself about the winning bid amounts. All of those will be posted in the future on the transaction history page. I think they will get this week's bids done no later than tomorrow and I'm sorry we didn't have those right away, but look for them soon enough because I realize how important that information is to everyone. Thanks.

Greg - NYC AL Auction problem alet for free agent moves. Team King of Queens managed to acquire Donavan Osbourn, who we (Team Init To Winit) drafted. Now I now see Donavan Osbourn on both rosters. How can this be possible and how do I get A-Rod and Soriano if we can bid on players drafted by other teams????
Thanks,
Pete
Thanks,
Pete
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

I protest the ad hoc changing of the rules via email -- I refer, of course, to the extension of the FAAB period for the NL Auction league by an email sent some time after the time for bids to be submitted had expired. What are we supposed to do, hang by our emails 24 hours a day in case someone there decides to make a retroactive change in the published rules to correct what that person perceives as an injustice? That's crap. It is also arbitrary and capricious and allows manipulation of results of player auctions.

BB, Have you ever heard of limitations of technology? If guys that should have been available for free agent bidding were delayed in being added due to technological difficulties, then how is it fair to some fantasy players to deny them the opportunity to bid legitimately on guys who could help their team? There is no ideal answer to this but obviously a judgment call was made to sift through this gray area.
Your words indicate that you protest NFBC creating an unfair environment when, in reality, NFBC was REACTING on a best efforts basis.
In a hypothetical, what would you suggest doing if STATS crashed 2 hours before the free agency deadline? Some people are going to be unhappy with your decision to extend or not extend the deadline but sometimes there are wrinkles in life. Ya dig?

I bid $951 for Bradley. Considering the OF was my weakest area and I'd pretty much have him from Day #1 I rolled the dice. I hope STATS puts ALL bids up for view. To do anything less wouldn't be fair in a high stakes contest like this.

WOW. I bid in the low $500s. I agree, the prices realized must be shown for all to see.

WOW !!! I couldn't bring myself to burning even half my budget on a guy that could flake out at any moment ... but good luck and thx for not keeping us in suspense.

I didn't get my second free-agent. Can someone tell me if I did something wrong? I won 1. R. Lankford for O. Hernandez. I had a few contingency bids (a. - e.) in for that one that weren't needed. However, I put in another bid on Tyler Yates (2.) to release Rick Reed. I also put a couple contingency bids in for this one as well. I saw that someone else got Yates, and that's fine, but my first contingency bid (2. a.) is still sitting on the Free-Agent list, and no other team has him listed on the transactions page!?!?! He actually was my 1st contingency for Lankford but since I listed him in both bids (1. and 2.) shouldn't he have been considered for my 2nd group of bids for R. Reed...

. . . Ya dig? There is no grey area in the rules. The rules say when the bidding closes. NOTHING grey about that, Ya dig?
If some players were not included, then just include them in the next period when ALL participants can bid on them, not the chosen few who happen by after the bidding has closed, Ya dig?

I agree with BB here.
I sleep in the evenings and had no idea the deadline had been extended and had no opportunity for the extended shopping spree.
I think we need to stick to the rules and let technology catch up.

Hi Everyone -- If you go to "Transactions" -- "Waiver History", you can see the winning bid amounts.

BB, I do not disagree with your protest on my Auction League decision. As I stated to Dave on a previous thread, I don't expect everyone to sit by their e-mail or by their computer on Sunday nights to make sure every free agent is listed. However, this was a trade that was made on Saturday and I was as surprised as anyone to see that he wasn't in the AL free agent pool. I still tried to get him in on time and tried to alert everyone, but I realize that a technical mistake may have led to an unfair advantage to everyone in the league.
Let me sleep on this one, as Meat Loaf says. I don't want to open a can of worms here as the rules are the rules and I understand the concerns of those who weren't present at that time. This is an AL Auction League problem only, but it's one I want to resolve correctly.
