Nick,

What ever happened to the guy who wrote the article online about how dumb everyone in the nfbc New York was and then get smoked. I know KOQ joined his website and everything.

No one ever really responded to the original topic here. Yes, there are some guys who are younger like me and Rockwell and Lance and stuff, but in general it is more like the mob bosses from 'back home' in Casino who are showing up with their oxygen tanks and what not. There are a lot of guys on this message board, like UFS, who will get you riled up over the Internet, but when you see them in person and the nurse from the convalescent home is wheeling them over to the table and making sure they are not having an incontinent moment and you just feel bad for them.

Seriously, I'd put the average age between 40 and 45.

I'm in my early 30's. Is that too young?

I think you will do well in this contest solo- Nick. good luck- As far as I know, he's still around on a few websites. He doesn't play the NFBC anymore though. Those guys actually drafted as a team of 4 or 5 people, and for the most part are pretty nice and knowledgeable. I'm not sure why he felt the need to write that article, but it certainly came back to bite him. FWIW, that site went under shortly after that debacle.

Paperboys: My name in Budget Baseball is Less than Dave... I have been playing for years and, with the exception of last year, finished top 50ish the 2 or 3 previous years... last year I had like a dozen leagues and that one got put on the backburner.. but this year I will be back in full force. If you wanna chat strat sometime, lemme know.. I'll message you my AIM screen name. I wanna see you up there with me in the top 20 this year in NFBC.. we gotta represent for the young crowd.. even if it's just like me and you haha
