If some see speed flying off the board figure if I'm going to compete for the big prize, I better get mine now, and take somebody way early or be forced to take "Judy's" they didn't want. Until proven otherwise it takes a balanced team to win the $100,000 and all other strategies will fail and can affect the others in the same league either positively or negatively. Most likely negatively.

I agree with Chest and Vander - to a degree; those that can react and not Overreact will still do fine.

BUT cleaver - what is the point of redrafting from one draft? - the decisions and thus the teams are not real time decisions and do not lead to real teams that warrant analysis

I don't look at ANY single team in my league to see how many SP, RP, etc they pick during the draft. If there is a league-wide run on a certain position, I'll wait it out.

Btw, I've felt terrible since about midnight last night. Been in the bathroom too many times in the past 12 hours. Hopefully it's a 24 hour bug.

Right now all the top players are sticking with a balanced approach. I have tried a gimmick and got killed, but I knew going in that a team built on pitching needs all the stars to align.

i agree that an unbalanced team couldn't win the overall championship, there's too many obstacles to overcome. but i do feel it could be a league champion, because of what it could do to the teams in that particular league. it would take luck and a few surprises with some of the later drafted players, which is definitely a possibility.

There have been several league champions including the Thelen's who have yet to draft a rp yet have won at least 2 mainevent league championships and are ranked pretty high lifetime. They're very good.

i understand you could punt saves and/or steals and still win cash. but i don't think you'll claim many championships.
