What position do you think you can afford to wait on this year, meaning not even think about until Round 12 or beyond? If you were forced to pick one. Exclude catchers.
-Mace and Bailey's Sorry I missed this...
I would never approach it this way unless I saw a real opportunity somewhere. If you wait until after the 12th round for outfield, it gets tough becuase you need 5. Does that mean you are willing to take 4 or 5 in the next 11 picks?

Yeah outfield is the extreme case, I didn't mean go totally naked at outfield until 12, I went like 3, 10, 15, 16, 17, but you could theoretically do it with any of the infield positions if you have 5 sleepers who you wouldn't mind being you're number 1. I thought maybe you had a position like that this year, like the deek who took Towles and Soto.

Also, any truth that your former partner has been sent to the Gulag? Mr. Deckel is an interesting man. He is misunderstood. He has been through a lot in his life. It's amazing how much knowledge he has.
I played golf with him last year. We were on a private course. It was the off season and there weren't many players on the course. When we reach the green on the ninth hole, a lady came out and asked him not to wear his hat backwards. I swear she thought he was going to kill her. We were having a great time playing golf, but he wouldn't turn his hat around. So he was booted from the course!! He couldn't even do it for a half hole and then turn it back... [/QUOTE]I don't know Mr. Deckel...but I like him!

Once again, thanks to Shawn for doing the live chat last night. I wasn't on the site all night, but when I did log in midway through the chat I saw we had 144 members on the boards. Outside of us announcing the draft picks, that's one of our highest ratings for the NFBC site.
Good job, Mr. Super Bowl.

My apologies to Mr. Gekko who does an outstanding job keeping these boards going, but Shawn candidly answering great questions is about as good as it gets for a hard core nfbc player.

And yes, you are correct...for hardcore nfbc players looking to sponge info before the main event, shawn is as good as it gets.

I think closers will go mid 4th round this year. I don't the run will start until after the first five or six come off the board. You know there will be a run, if you wait for it, you might be at the wrong end of it.
