NFBC Eligibility Lists

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Feb 22, 2008 2:26 am

The NFBC Eligibility List on the NFBC home page hasn't been updated yet, so I thought it would be best to list the position eligibilities here for all to see. We'll eventually get that updated on the home page and we'll have a sheet with all of this information when you Register on Draft Day. But for all satellite league owners, this is important now just in case the MDC list doesn't match up.

If you have questions about any player, please post them here. If you see any potential changes, post them here. We don't list EVERY SINGLE possible outfielder because the list could include every Triple-A OFer too, but this is a good start. Again, ask questions if you don't see someone on the list you need to know about or PM me if you don't want to give away this prospect.

Anyway, here's the official NFBC Eligibility List for 2008:

Tom, are the players currently listed at the bottom of each list the lowest ranked players that would be used for illegal rosters? For example, Nick Johnson is currently listed as the second worst 1st baseman.

Glenn, that will be determined based on our rankings. We'll have all that onsite in each city.

Tom,

Is there anyway you guys can present these lists alphabetically instead of by some type of ranking? It was one of the things I noticed at the past couple of Main Events.

I would assume that most if not all of the owners are coming to draft slightly prepared, but it seemed strange that you guys were handing out lists that implied some sort of value when it would be just as easy to list them alphabetically.

Just a thought...

Just a thought... "prepared"??? I am going to use the copy of The Forecaster we get at the draft as my draft prep and list.

Out of curiosity, where do you have Nick Johnson ranked?

Anyone know where Jeff Baker on Colorado is eligible. Either he is not on the lists or I am blind as a bat.

Thanks

Marty #57 on the First Baseman list.

If you want to find a player, just hit Ctrl-F and type the player's name in the box that pops up.

Just a thought... Yes, we will have position eligibility lists at the draft for everyone based on position and by alphabetically. This should make it easier for everyone. Good luck all.

He did not play in 2007, so according to our rules his eligibility would be determined by his last season played.
