Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:



Chicago League 1: Dixie Walkers had the high bid this week, paying $227 for Scott Service. Bambinos paid $103 for Kevin Youkilis, while FUPayMe paid $102 for Chase Utley, CARPE DIEM paid $89 for Scott Hatteberg and Big Mac Attack paid $67 for Dennis Tankersley. Other high bids were Crosley Field Nash,Young paying $37 for Tony Graffanino 37; FUPayMe paying $31 for Tommy Phelps 31 and 1000 Benjamins paying $29 for Akinori Otsuka.



Chicago League 2: BobCats had the high bid in this league with a $200 bid for Scott Service. Dante's Screamers paid $77 for Dennis Tankersley, while Sabersmack paid $76 for David Wells, Sabersmack paid $57 for Kevin Youkilis, Mastering the Flow paid $41 for Aaron Sele and Cheap Seat Chuggers paid $33 for Darin Erstad. Other high bids this week were Drafthelp Noys of Summer paying $31 for Todd Van Poppel; Dante's Screamers paying $29 for Alexis Rios; Triple Threat paying $28 for Brian Fuentes and Da Leaderboard paying $25 each for Cesar Izturis and Tommy Phelps.



Chicago League 3: VastRitWingConspircy paid $45 for Tomo Ohka to post the high bid in this league. Team Pike paid $36 for Toby Hall, while Scarface paid $31 for Ryan Drese, What's the rumpus? paid $31 for Jaret Wright and Team RotoWire paid $25 for Scott Hairston. Team Esposito paid $23 each for Endy Chavez and Tommy Phelps.



New York League 1: AMAZINS had the high bid in this New York League, paying $373 for Raul Mondesi. Ball Busters paid $152 for Endy Chavez, while AMAZINS paid $126 for Mark Bellhorn, $47 for Scot Shields and $33 for Scott Hairston. Other high bids this week were www.ROTOBOWL.com paying $22 for Jose Jimenez; Dynasty paying $21 for Mark Kotsay and 100 LARGE AND IN CHARGE paying $21 for Gregg Zaun.



New York League 2: Cellar Dwellers paid $467 for Raul Mondesi to record the high bid this week. JUNIOR's Seniors paid $157 for Matt Stairs, while Cellar Dwellers paid $147 for Derek Lowe, Team qqq paid $71 for Scott Service and Kingman-Millan Gambit paid $43 for Miguel Batista. Other high bids this week were Philly CheeseSteaks paying $39 for Dustin Hermanson; JUNIOR's Seniors paying $33 for Brian Fuentes; Philly CheeseSteaks paying $31 for Tommy Phelps and Roenicke-Lowenstein paying $20 for Todd Van Poppel.



New York League 3: Balto. Boys had the high bid, paying $157 for Jose Jimenez. We Go Now paid $91 for John Olerud, while InItToWinIt paid $75 for Dennis Tankersley, Balto. Boys paid $61 for Enrique Wilson and AD and the Guru paid $51 for Victor Zambrano. Other high bids were Team Ross paying $46 for Miguel Batista; LaJolla LaV paying $46 for Scott Service; Team Ross paying $38 for Scott Hairston; M&M Boys paying $32 for Alexis Rios and 100 Grand paying $20 for Fred McGriff.



New York League 4: Quahogs paid $254 for Jose Jimenez to post the high bid this week. We have Midas paid $152 for Scott Service, while CREATiVESPORTS Walton paid $61 for Ruben Sierra and PW Express paid $61 for Brian Fuentes and $53 for Alexis Rios. New York League 5: DD Diamond Dawgz’s $123 bid for Jose Jimenez was the high bid this week. Dyv & Espo paid $103 for Scott Service, while East Coast Schwag paid $103 for Victor Zambrano, Dyv & Espo paid $77 for Matt Stairs and Hardways paid $52 for Alexis Rios. Las Vegas League 1: Wiseguy Baseball paid $311 for John Thomson for the high bid. The B-Sharps paid $214 for Al Leiter, while OUT OF THE SHADOWS paid $129 for Scott Service, Wiseguy Baseball paid $105 for Jose Jimenez and $57 for David Wells. Las Vegas League 4: Wise Guy Baseball’s $306 bid for Carlos Pena was the high bid in this league.
