Chicago NFBC Main Event Leagues

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Mar 07, 2008 4:01 am

Okay, we have 390 paid teams for the NFBC main event in 2008 -- A FULL HOUSE!!! Chicago has a perfect number of 60 teams, four full leagues, so we will start with the Windy City. Congrats to all and best of luck in your leagues.

The Chicago main event will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on Saturday, March 15th starting at 1 p.m. EST (noon CST) with four full leagues (60 teams). Please be on time as all drafts will start exactly at the top of the hour.

I'll post each Chicago league individually now in the League Forums and then post all four leagues right here. Enjoy all.

good luck to all. see you in a week. intend to have some beers after the draft. big believer in kds- but 2 years in a row i got my 13th choice. plus 12, 13 were my 1st 2 kds picks and 14 was my 13th. so i came out of the hat 13,14 or 15- probably 14 or 15 AND the 12 and 13 slots were taken. from the kds posting greg has put up- to me it looked like 2% that i get 14 pick- but like any gambler will tell you- that 2% chance does happen. mike diedrich pick 14 league 3

Mike, I look forward to drafting by you. Just hope we don't go into the draft with the same plan, I've had that happen before it makes for a long day. I hate the 15th pick because you have to wait and pick the leftovers. Really wanted a pick around 5-10 but who knows I might get lucky and get some big names to fall to me. Good luck to everyone in Chicago look forward to next week.

P.S. Anyone want to trade picks? :D
