I know many of you already know and have commented on the contact rates of these 3 hitters in stating that the high batting averages of these 3 young studs was misleading, but this article about contact rate is interesting nonetheless.

Looks like Upton will hit for a much lower average this year, Braun and Kemp as well. Might not be as valuable as many of you are projecting.

What's the point? Obviously you want info to be out there to devalue the players - you're more cunning than that this is reverse-info-psychology and you hope that by showing statistical evidence to not like these guys they'll now be taken too early?

heya Rock! Hey everyone - I figured my little entree back into the boards should be calling out a really really cool guy

I'm doing pretty damn good - looking forward to passing on Pujols at the #10 pick in LV4 unless I freeze up and blurt it out. Never know with me - just the challenge of trying to finish top 3 in the league throwing away my first round pick is tempting, lol.

I just got off the phone with a guy from a local baseball league, and it got me trippin' out!

Are we CRAZY? (We = the NFBC and website folks)

If we drafted a draft last October after the season was over, things would look so different.

Yet not a regular season game has taken place...and we go crazy hyping guys like Upton and others up like 4 rounds higher simply based on speculation and hype.

It's amazing!

He's talking like he can get Rollins late 2nd round, and BJ in the 4th, and stuff like that, and I'm wondering..."can he?"

Are we out-thinking the world, or creating so much hype around certain players that they will not/can not possibly play up the the rounds we are now ADP'ing them.

Still wondering.

Oh...mental note to call Chesty "BRO" when I first meet him in Vegas!!!

2) Boy the boards got feisty (I like it)! Could it be some were not so happy with their league or draft spot...of is it just a release from all the prep work and planning getting so close to "show time!"?
