President George Bush flew into New York today to tour ther site of the National Fantasy Baseball Championship. Escorted by the Secret Service,George observed the live auctions going on in the Sheraton Hotel.
George used to own the Texas Rangers and also always dreamed of being a General Manager. Upon asking the NFBC's President Greg Ambrosius if he could participate in tommorrows live draft he was told by Greg "I am very sorry but the event is full"
Traffic was was stalled all around the city as George booked a room at the Sheraton Hotel for this event. New Yorkers were appalled that the President would come to the big city and mess of the traffic for his visitwithout ahving a guarenteed draft spot.
As President Bush said " I tried to pull strings to get in this event. I tried everything,
but there were no spots left in the league. Maybe I will try next year"." Well at the least,I am hoping to start the stop watch for the 1st pick."
