Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:

Chicago League 1: Bambinos had the high bid in this league this week, paying $142 for Luis Matos. CARPE DIEM paid $88 for Ryan Madson, while The Cableguy paid $85 for Nate Field, CARPE DIEM paid $81 for David Bell and 1000 Benjamins paid $59 for David DeJesus. Other high bids were INDY GATORS paying $32 for Dewon Brazelton and $30 for Jon Rauch; 1000 Benjamins paying $23 for Victor Santos and Bambinos paying $21 for Bronson Arroyo.

Chicago League 2: Da Leaderboard paid $115 for Nate Field for the high bid. DFW Rough Riders paid $59 for David Newhan, while Shenanigans paid $44 for Endy Chavez and Mastering the Flow paid $31 for Victor Santos. Other high bids were Sabersmack paying $26 for Joey Gathright; Team Florczak paying $25 for Aaron Sele and Shenanigans paying $21 for Mark Hendrickson.

Chicago League 3: leaderboardsports.com had the high bid, paying $101 for Julio Franco. Other high bids were Team Esposito paying $48 for Aaron Boone and Lake Shore Drive paying $23 for Endy Chavez.

New York League 1: 100 LARGE AND IN CHARGE had this week’s high bid, paying $303 for Joey Gathright. On The DL paid $161 for David DeJesus, while TOWNIES paid $123 for Laynce Nix. Other high bids were Triple A paying $36 for Nate Field; Tyree and Lysol paying $23 for Dewon Brazelton and Ball Busters paying $21 for Tim Worrell.

New York League 2: F-scubba had the high bids this week, paying $187 apiece for David DeJesus and Joey Gathright. Other high bids were Philly CheeseSteaks paying $126 for Nate Field and Cellar Dwellers paying $37 for Tony Armas.

New York League 3: LaJolla LaV had the high bids, paying $146 apiece for Joey Gathright and Aaron Boone. Other high bids were Disco Jiggy paying $58 for Nate Field; AD and the Guru paying $31 for Mike Redmond and M&M Boys paying $22 for John Buck.

New York League 4: CREATiVESPORTS Walton had the high bid in this league, paying $202 for Aaron Boone. Moneymaker paid $159 for Nate Field, while Kings of Swing paid $73 for David DeJesus. Other high bids were CREATiVESPORTS Walton paying $41 for Dewon Brazelton; BARNSTORMERS paying $41 for Juan Rincon and PW Express paying $33 for Joey Gathright.

New York League 5: Money Bags paid $358 for Joey Gathright to record the high bid in this league. Team Fox paid $73 for Endy Chavez, while Supply-siders paid $52 for Matt Holliday. Other high bids were Team Fox paying $42 for Aaron Rowand and $36 for Ramon Ortiz; East Coast Schwag paying $32 for Scott Sullivan and Supply-siders paying $21 for Rodrigo Lopez.

Las Vegas League 1: THE LIP had the high bid this week, paying $250 for David DeJesus. Sooner Magic paid $203 for Kip Wells, while Statistical Apocolypse paid $111 for Joey Gathright. Other high bids were Sooner Magic paying $51 for Dewon Brazelton; Blind Threesome paying $38 for Aaron Boone; THE LIP paying $34 for Raul Mondesi; Blind Threesome paying $31 for Nate Field and LB High & Mighty paying $24 for Deivi Cruz.

Las Vegas League 2: Maroon & White paid $70 for Nate Field for this league’s high bid. Fantasy Jungle.Com paid $65 for David DeJesus, while Reno Bulldogs paid $58 for Aaron Harang and Kazu & Tre & 105K paid $56 for Scott Hairston. Other high bids were Smoky Mtn. Oysters paying $49 for Dewon Brazelton and ROIDRAGE paying $31 for Joey Gathright.

Las Vegas League 3: carpe dinero had the high bid, paying $133 for David DeJesus. The Roto Times paid $78 for Aaron Rowand, while Pedro and Man paid $53 for Scot Shields. Other high bids were WEIRD SCIENCE paying $43 for Brian Schneider; Curt Flood Love paying $34 for Byung-Hyun Kim and carpe dinero paying $27 for Mike Wood.

Las Vegas League 4: Miami Mac paid $169 for Nate Field for the high bid. CC's Desperados (Draft) paid $76 for Tony Armas, while TBill's Desert Scorn paid $72 for Joey Gathright and Johnny Walker Reds paid $53 for David DeJesus. Other high bids were Miami Mac paying $43 for Jay Gibbons; TBill's Desert Scorn paying $33 for Gregg Zaun; Wiz's LeaderboardSports paying $31 for David Newhan; NADER'S RAIDERS paying $31 for Franklyn German and Team Shairson paying $23 for Aaron Rowand.

Las Vegas League 5: Learning Curve paid $132 for Aaron Boone for this week’s high bid. gigglin marlin paid $57 for Joey Gathright, while The Slugs paid $53 for David DeJesus. Other high bids were LB Big Richards paying $27 for Nate Field and $26 for Keith Ginter.
