BERKMAN!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOUSTON FIRST BASEMAN LANCE BERKMAN LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE FOURTH INNING WITH NECK SPASMS.

I knew he was a crusty dusty, but I thought he'd last the first week without going down.

Mariners ace Bedard to miss Sunday’s start

Love the guy, but no way after having him the last two years was I going to waste a high pick on him.

I think my old boy Roy Oswalt is also turning into a crusty dusty before my eyes!

...crusty dusty is fun to say. :D

Oswalt has been getting by with smoke and mirrors for a few years. It's nice to see the smoke blow away. He's on the same tier as zambrano. Stay away.

The Astros must wonder when Berkman will play again.

“I never want to rule anything out,” Berkman said after the Chicago Cubs beat the Astros 9-7 at Wrigley Field. “I don’t want to take myself out of the lineup before I show up and see how it feels (Sunday). If it felt like it did today I’m just not going to be able to do it. It’s not a question of wanting to. It’s just physically if you can’t turn your head you can’t do it.”

“I was trying to play if I possibly could,” Berkman said. “Really after my first at-bat I should have come out. But after my second at-bat, I couldn’t. I can’t turn my head, so I had to hit completely different than I normally would.”
