Week 23 FAAB Bids

Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFBC league for the most sought-after free agents:

Chicago League 1: Big Mac Attack had this week’s high bid, paying $85 for Gavin Floyd. Other high bids were Dixie Walkers paying $32 for Doug Waechter and The Cableguy paying $21 for Jason Michaels.

Chicago League 2: Triple Threat paid $128 apiece for Justin Speier and Billy Wagner for this league’s high bids. Other high bids were Da Leaderboard paying $50 for Gavin Floyd; Triple Threat paying $48 for Esteban Yan; Dante's Screamers paying $23 for Erik Bedard and DFW Rough Riders paying $21 for Keith Ginter.

Chicago League 3: Team Price had the high bid, paying $101 for Justin Speier. Other high bids were Lake Shore Drive paying $38 for Ismael Valdez and Team RotoWire paying $26 apiece for Gavin Floyd and David Bush.

New York League 1: DREAM TEAM had the high bids this week, paying $22 for Justin Speier and $21 for J.D. Closser.

New York League 2: Philly CheeseSteaks paid $79 for Gavin Floyd, while baseball sevant paid $51 for Esteban Yan for this week’s high bids.

New York League 3: Team Paley had the week’s high bid, paying $201 for Pat Burrell. We Go Now paid $71 for Gavin Floyd, while Team Paley paid $56 for Mike Sweeney. Other high bids were JIGGY FUGAZY paying $22 for Esteban Yan and Team Ross paying $22 for Esteban Loaiza and $21 for Clint Barmes.

New York League 4: We have Midas paid $39 for Shawn Chacon for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Moneymaker paying $22 for Ryan Vogelsong, Go The Distance paying $20 each for Jon Garland, Ismael Valdez and Erik Bedard and We have Midas paying $20 for Chan Ho Park.

New York League 5: Team Conti had this week’s high bid, paying $121 for Gavin Floyd. Other high bids were Hardways paying $44 for Hideo Nomo and Team Fox paying $22 for Chan Ho Park.

Las Vegas League 1: FOLLOW DA LEADER paid $88 for Luke Hudson for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were SportsBuff.com paying $43 for Justin Speier and $27 for Pat Burrell 27, Who Dat Is? paying $26 for Jay Gibbons and Las Vegas Ratpack paying $20 for Gavin Floyd.

Las Vegas League 2: Maroon & White paid $116 for Justin Speier, while Welcome to Stevieland paid $47 for Gavin Floyd for this week’s high bids.

Las Vegas League 3: Injuries-R-Us paid $111 for Clint Barmes and $89 for Esteban Yan, while PezSox paid $42 for Gavin Floyd for this league’s high bids.

Las Vegas League 4: Leaderboard Sports NFBC paid $51 for Rick Ankiel for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Edwards Kings paying $43 for Gavin Floyd and Johnny Walker Reds paying $37 for Clint Barmes.

Las Vegas League 5: wemarriedshiksas paid $71 for Pat Burrell for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were LB Big Richards paying $37 for Gavin Floyd and $27 for Daryle Ward and Team O'Connor paying $25 for Brandon Backe, $22 for Nook Logan and $21 for Chan Ho Park.

Las Vegas AL Auction: Wildwood Weeds paid $117 for David Segui for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were PIGGY paying $33 for Chris Young and Wildwood Weeds paying $23 for Dee Brown.

Las Vegas NL Auction: Team Tiegs paid $215 for Gavin Floyd for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were Leaderboard Sports NL paying $34 for Josh Kroeger, Zefurs paying $22 for Casey Fossum and Leaderboard Sports NL paying $21 for Ryan Howard.

New York AL Auction: down the stretch had this league’s high bid, paying $159 for Terry Tiffee. Ole Half Mile paid $98 for Eric Crozier, while Blaze Meats paid $41 for Nick Swisher. Other high bids were BAD ANGEL'S paying $31 for Jason Kubel and Blaze Meats paying $23 for Chris Young.
