Crazy's Sidebets Update................

Bet #1 = $125 entry into WTA 2009 - Who has more pitching points in Feb. 19th WTA 1 between Crazy and GLY? The bet was offered by me after I heard the words I'll beat you by "10 to 15 points" in pitching. Of course, GLY has had much success in the NFBC satellites and has helped me a great deal in league strategy so this couldn't be an automatic win for me.



After first month:



Crazy Pitching = 62 points

GLY Pitching = 14 1/2 points



Now, in all fairness, I've had injuries to Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez and Kevin Slowey but I promise not to add any sympathy points to my score.



Bet #2 - $125 entry in WTA 2009 - Who has more combined points between Feb. 19th and March 26th WTA leagues between myself and Rick Thomas.



I'm currently sitting in 2nd and 4th place in those leagues with a combined score of 200.5 points.



Rick Thomas is currently sitting in 4th and 6th place with a combined score of 178 points.



So far, Crazy leads the almighty Rick Thomas by 22.5 points.



It's like taking candy from an overgrown baby.



This bet was first offered before the draft by RT but I felt it was a bad idea mixing bets between pitching bets and overall points bets between 2 different people so I declined. After a couple weeks seeing I would easily win the pitching bet I knew the RT bet would be safe as well, not quite as safe, but safe nonetheless.



Just one month into the season so nothing to make of it. Just an update.
