What idiot manager would leave his starter in for a 52 pitch disaster start and let him take a pounding for 10 earned runs on 11 hits and a walk?

Yes I have Arroyo and I started him but who would figure Baker would be that crazy?

Geez, this is my second career 10 runs in 1 inning effort in 5 years in the NFBC and it stinks as bad now as it did the first time it happened to me.

Just when I think Bronson couldn't suck any more than he already has, he proves me wrong. Really pulled a "Bronson" tonight! We'll at least he has finally convinced me to drop him, it's ashamed that I have to wait until Sunday. ERA of 90.00 and a whip of 12.00, thanks Bronson!

Likewise, risky move with Moyer in two road starts incl/ @ TEX.

I started Arroyo for the two-start outing this week; Toronto and Cleveland are both scuffling offensively and Toronto in particular is awful against RHP's. I'm down 7.0 points in pitching on this outing alone, and still have one to go. I think I'm going through all the stages of grief at once, other than acceptance of course.

[/QUOTE]Yeah I got caught chasing wins. Due to injuries I had to start all my healthy pitchers. I am a little worried about Moyer, but he usually doesn't get killed. My mistake with Arroyo is the fact he is still on my team. Time to let him ruin someone else's ERA & WHIP :D

I'm not a stat guru like you, KJ...but is Old Man Edmonds a career flyball heavy hitter...if so...his value in Fart-Knock CHI Stadium when the farts are blowing out will be good.

Not sure what his stats say, but he's always had a nice uppercut swing. He had warning track power in San Diego so summer @ Wrigley is probably ideal.

Just returned home and read the Arroyo report. Here's a question. Which drink would best wash down all of those yummy runs? A) a Pilsner B) an Australian shiraz C) some Maker's Mark or D)strychnine
I feel like I'm the Jerry Quarry of the NFBC.

Bronson Arroyo is now out of Sunday's game with a good line for the day. More importantly, he can never hurt me again, YEAH!!! Any other Arroyo owners afraid he was going to give up 10 plus runs today and afraid to watch? Now it's party time, 5 more hours and No more Bronson!!! What a great feeling to have Arroyo out of the game with a positive line. Bye Bye Bronson, may you treat someone else's ERA and WHIP the same way you treated mine.
