Greg,

Let the cat out of the bag. What's coming next year. I think the stat's thing has been covered enough. I want something to look forward to. Gekko enough already! :D

john - maybe next year u can finish below 200 overall in the main event.

Honestly, with the economy the way it is and everything else that is going on around here, I'll admit that this is the first time that I just don't have everything finalized at season's end. We may just roll out everything like we had last year and not add anything new. I'm still working on all of that.



Dates for 2009 NFBC:

March 20-22, 2009. Main event is Saturday, March 21st and it is March Madness again in Las Vegas.



Locations:

Las Vegas: Flamingo (we have room blocks at $189)

New York: Finalizing with the Sheraton again

Chicago: Closing in at or new the Rosemont Convention Center



We don't have a fourth location yet. Florida is our fifth best state for NFBC participation, so I'm looking there again. We may have something in Tampa as returning there makes some sense.



Online Championship???: This is tough. I need to work on this before announcing anything. I'm not sure this will work and I'm not going to add a second live event at this point. Stay tuned and thanks for everything everyone.

Mark, Come to Las Vegas and I'll tell you. I know your scared to take on the best though. Come and try out the shark tank and see how you do guppy. :eek: :eek:

Mark, How many main events have you done in Las Vegas? None? Thought so! How many Auctions have you done in Las Vegas? none? Thought so. Until you swim with the sharks in Las Vegas you'll never be able to say a word to me. Get on the front line or hide in NY. Your choice. :rolleyes:

Vegas players claim everywhere else is weak, thus they have a hard time finishing at the top of the overall. This may be true, as they have some great players in Vegas. In my review of the leagues I have the belief that NY has the highest amount of owners becoming inactive. I have noted a team that drafted Longoria and never started him, so I believe that owner was not active. Life sometimes gets in the way of this hobby. Others, will say Chicago is weak (has more then its share of bad teams) or three different league winners would not have finished high in the Overall Prize pool.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME , the best fantasy baseball players go to Vegas.Ive done NEW YORK and won the 1300.00 auction and then they all quit.You have to go to Vegas if you want to play all the events.

I know their is great fantasy playersin every city but the most swim in VEGAS just like the WALLA man say's.
