I was told all checks were being mailed from there on Friday and nobody has told me differently. As soon as I get an answer I'll post here as my contact wasn't at her desk when I inquired.

Nah, we do all checks electronically on Friday, so I was surprised that they possibly didn't go out. But I've been assured they did go out on Friday. You guys are giving the US Postal Service too much credit here for the turnaround time!! :D Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day for everyone.

Last year the mailman thought I was a stalker after several weeks of waiting on Cincinnati. :D But I hope I'm wrong!

FFOC is supposed to pay the mill on the spot in Vegas. Which would be nice since I could just hand it over the sportsbook and turn it into 5 mill on the Cubs World Series 2009 !

Just out of curiosity.... Does the Overall $100K winner get his check along with the others or is there some kind of special treatment with with a camera crew and one of the top dogs handing him a check?

Pete
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Pete He gets his check through the mail just like everyone else. Maybe some day we'll be able to turn it into more of an event. That would certainly be great to showcase our champion in that manner because they certainly deserve it. But at this time, he gets the check and then the big giant check that we use to picture him with on the cover of our magazine.

Pete We were going to do it that way with the Publisher's Clearing House crew, but look how that worked out for Ed McMahon. :D The guy's house is being foreclosed. So we're just going the quiet route and hoping Bobby's neighbors don't even find out he's $100,000 richer!! :D

[/QUOTE]It haunts me because I every time I recall the Fisher party I have to see my partners bare ass getting whipped with a belt. Just a vision I don't need to think about. :( Must of shown up late and missed the rumzke Shawn. LOL I do remember poor Rick's head bouncing off the linoleum. LMAO

Pete Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado winners, it'll be get your own damn check out of the mailbox like everyone else.

However, if the winner hails from Florida, Arizona, or California, Greg and Tom will be pushing Krause to fly to the winners city for special treatment. :D

It arrived!! 2 Ebay purchases that were shipped Friday 10/24 via regular mail from California and Kansas to Massachusetts--but No NFBC check from Ohio. What are the 10/27 postmark odds? A chance to double up? Hmmmm or maybe take the Phils to win game 5 for the second time in 3 nights.
