Although Matt "Fish" would be a great name for someone in the fish biz, my name is Matt Ross. I know a Matt Fish, I don't believe he plays fantasy baseball, but I wouldn't want to chance getting locked out of the league. Just a clarification.

Will there be any Draft Champion Sat's?

Also, I didn't see a "rules" page for Baseball DC's. Is there a link to one I can read?

Duke, you're all set. Just a heads up that if anyone wants to sign up for leagues, the best way to make sure is to sign up online. Or you can email me ([email protected]). That way I won't miss a post here on the boards.

As far as online auctions, I'd plan on them lasting 4-5 hours.

The draft champion format 45 rounds and no FAAB moves during the season. You can change your starting lineup each week if you want. But the team you draft is the team you will have throughout the season.

What service are you using this year for the auctions? We'll have to see. FantasyAuctioneer is being sold. We'll have to see what's out there.

I just signed up for a few of the satellite snake drafts but have no clue how this works.

Will I get an email from NFBC or MDC with instructions for joining a draft? Will that not come until the league is filled?

Also, I've seen various posts regarding position eligibility on this site. I believe MDC provides position eligibility for mock drafts but they won't match the NFBC lists I've seen. When I log in to the draft at MDC do I need to ignore their eligibility assignments or will the NFBC lists have been "downloaded" into my league's custom draft?

Thank you

Thank you The NFBC's eligibility list is the official one. We have someone monitoring all of the satellite drafts so if there is a question just let us know during the draft.

As far as the process, nothing will be done until the league fills up. After the league fills up you'll receive an email from me announcing when the KDS preferences are due. On that day, the draft order will be announced. MDC will set the league up shortly after that and send out an invite to everyone in the league with access info for their site. That's all there is to it.

If you have any questions let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Sign me up for the March 29th $250 league. Any chance of setting up a message board for each specific satellite league like you do for the Main Event leagues?

You're all set, Aaron. As far as individual league forums, that probably isn't something we'll do given the large number of satellite leagues that we run every year. If people want to start one for their league in the satellite forum that'll be fine.

2009 NFBC Satellite League Signup Thread

Post by Triple Crown » Wed Feb 04, 2009 2:35 am

Are the satellite drafts being held at MDC again

or do I need to register with another site? I've

got plenty of time since I'm not drafting until

April 1.

Last year ADP information for the NFBC leagues was

sent out. I found that very helpful in preparing

for the draft. Is that information being provided

again?

Thanks.
