NFBC Champions Magazine League

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Nov 24, 2008 7:44 am

Tom and I are knee deep in rankings, ratings and dollar values for our first baseball issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine. This marks our 20th year of the publication, which not only ages me but also reminds me of how far we've come in this industry. It's exciting to think we've lasted 20 years.

Anyway, as part of our first issue, I'd like to create an NFBC Champions League and list the results in our first issue of the magazine. I'll open it up to 15 NFBC league champions from any of our 2008 events and get the first 15 in the draft. We'll also play this league out and award a $500 voucher for any NFBC event in 2010 to whomever finishes first in this league.

The draft will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16th at 7 pm ET on MockDraftCentral.com. If you can make it and would like to participate, sign up here. I'll keep a running tally of participants. By the way, we'll likely run a 12-team NFBC Online Championship Mock Draft that week as well, so if you don't get into this event look for that signup list soon.

If winning an auction counts, I'd like a shot.

Hi Greg-

I PM'd you last night to join up--if there's still space, I'll take a spot. Thanks!

Hey Greg - if there is room for a Sat champ - and newbie to the Main Event - I would be honored to participate.

Thanks,

Hey Greg

Not a champion, just a lowly runner up, BUT, if you fail to get it filled(which I doubt you will) you could use me as an alternate.

Thanks,

Two more spots open for this magazine league draft. We have the 2008 overall champ in this one along with the 3rd and 4th overall finishers. This should be fun and a tough, tough draft. Let's fill it up and then set a deadine for the KDS preferences. Time to get baseball rolling for 2009.
