New Slow Draft Offerings This Week

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Jan 18, 2009 3:31 am

Okay, it's getting kind of hard to keep up with the new offerings for the slow drafts with so many different threads, so going forward I'll combine the offerings in one spot and see if we can get more filled up. There have been some folks signing up for the next $125 Slow Draft as well, so it's time to combine three offerings here and see if we can fill one or more of these this week.

Here we go:

This week we'll offer:

$325, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3 finishers a free entry in the 2010 NFBC main event

$250, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3: $2,000, $750, $250

$125, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3: $1,000, $375, $125

First 15 to sign up for these will be ready to go right away. You can sign up for each under the Next New Slow Draft link.

Here's the concept: 15 owners, 45 rounds, no FAAB during the season, and we'll pay the top three finishers in each event. So the roster you draft is what you have to work with during the season. There are no pickups, but you still set your starting lineup each week and make moves on Friday for DL players if needed.

$325 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 4

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$325 Entry Fee, Pay $1,300 or 2010 NFBC main event free entry to Top 3 finishers

1.

We also have this $250 offering:

$250 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 3

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$250 Entry Fee, Pay $2,000 for first place, $750 for second and $250 for third

1. Ken Norred

2. Larry Lensak

3. Matt Hickok

4. Gaetan Lavoie

5. Don Brady

6. Jason Kelley

7. Jeff Meyer

8. Craig Kielinski

9. Brady Mc

10. JBlade

11. Mr. Cee

And now we're offering a $125 Slow Draft League

$125 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 3

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$125 Entry Fee, Pay $1,000 for first place, $375 for second and $125 for third

1.

John Pausma also wants to be part of the next $250 or $325 Slow Draft that fills. I added you to the $325 for now John as that one has more participants right now. Don't officially sign up for it until we fill it up, but let's get the momentum going this week and fill some of these up. It looks like some folks want to jump in, they're just waiting for one of these to get close to filling up. Let's do it.

Aloha Greg,

Go ahead and move me from the $250 to the $325 as it looks like that will roll soonest. My drafting trigger finger is itchy.

Cheers and mahalo!

OK, I am sure this is posted somewhere, how slow is a slow draft? With no access to sport sites at work, if I were to play, it would need to be slow....

You get 12 hours per pick and we are averaging about 2 rounds per day in the slower drafts and 4-5 rounds in the fastest drafts. 675 picks takes a long time, but these can still be done in 10-20 days.

Aaron Seefeldt wants that last spot in the $325 Slow Draft, so we're good to go. KDS deadline is noon tomorrow as we need to allow everyone time to get that part done. Send it to me at [email protected] and I'll pick the draft order then. Thanks all and good luck in this $325 Slow Draft League.

If you are in the $325 league, we need you to register for that league online. Please click on the satellite league option on the Registration page and click the $325 option on the right side of the page. The $325 league is the first option so click that and then register.

This MUST be done in order to get you set up for this league so please do this as soon as you can. Any questions about this you can email me at [email protected].
