Travel Tips for NYC?

Post by Marauders » Thu Jan 22, 2009 9:57 am

I'm thinking about going to NYC for the Main. I'm coming from NH, and I don't want to drive down, and I hate to fly. That leaves the bus or the Amtrak train service. They both arrive at Penn station, which according to the map is roughly about a mile from the hotel. Anyone in the northeast have any experience going in and out of NYC via bus or train?....which do you prefer?

Thanks

Go Amtrak - besides what GG said reagarding the passenger quality - you will find it a lot easier to get in some research on the train. Also- two words - Bar Car!
