Ron Shandlers fear of the NFBC!

I've never understood it. Ron decided not to do LABR and started Tout Wars. He thought the LABR draft was not up to his standard. Yet as the years have gone by he has returned to LABR. Still there is one contest out there that is a true contest. No industry guys making back door deals. No trades period. The NFBC offers the most level format to prove yourself. There are two spots left for a NL auction in Las Vegas. I figure if Ron can do a NL LABR he could do a NFBC NL.

Just a thought from a nobody.

Shandler will never play in the NFBC.

He's cryptic and just discovered a mid-eastern religous fanatic is stalking him.

He's uncovered that Walla Walla read backward is Allaw Allaw.

As I've said before, let's worry about the people who ARE in our contest. We have a lot of national champions from our own event to worry about and there are plenty of industry writers in the NFBC. I believe that BaseballHQ has had representatives in our main event every year; it just hasn't been Ron. We had Matthew Berry the first year, we've had Nate Ravitz, Jason Grey, Jeff Erickson, Todd, lots of industry guys. I'm not sure why John has a fixation on Ron, who is on the road three weeks prior to our draft doing his Baseball Seminars. It's not fair to Ron.

To each his own when it comes to competing in leagues you want to compete in. Let's move on and find a way to beat the 390 folks who will be in the 2009 main event.
