New Slow Draft League Offerings

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:23 pm

Okay, time for a new thread to try and get a few more Slow Draft, Draft Champions Leagues going. Sorry I didn't update the previous thread, but I'll keep the signup list updated on this first page. We're closing in on the full $125, 45-round Slow Draft, so let's get that done. Let me know on these boards if you wanted to be added to any of our three offerings.

Here we go:

$325, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3 finishers a free entry in the 2010 NFBC main event

$250, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3: $2,000, $750, $250

$125, 45-round Draft Champions Slow Draft, Pay Top 3: $1,000, $375, $125

Here's the concept: 15 owners, 45 rounds, no FAAB during the season, and we'll pay the top three finishers in each event. So the roster you draft is what you have to work with during the season. There are no pickups, but you still set your starting lineup each week and make moves on Friday for DL players if needed.

Here you go:

$325 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 4

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$325 Entry Fee, Pay $1,300 or 2010 NFBC main event free entry to Top 3 finishers

1. Don Brady

2. Jim Stanard

3. Craig Kielinski

4. Matt Marshall

5. Terry Passalaqua

6. Sam Botnick

We also have this $250 offering:

$250 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 4

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$250 Entry Fee, Pay $2,000 for first place, $750 for second and $250 for third

1. Andy Nolan/Chris Stephenson

2. Don Brady

3. Dan Holak

And now we're offering a $125 Slow Draft League

$125 NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft League No. 3

On MockDraftCentral.com starting when league fills

$125 Entry Fee, Pay $1,000 for first place, $375 for second and $125 for third

1. Jeff Rubenstein

2. Kirk LeValley

3. Paul Supal

4. Don Brady

5. Stanley Kaye

6. Michael Kaye

7. ELLIOTT

8. Jason Aberli

9. Jim Christie

10. Van Harper

11. Ken Gill

12. Greg Morgan

Greg,

How does the actual draft work again? I know you do it on mock draft central, but how much time between picks?

OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Van Harper Okay, FIVE SPOTS LEFT IN THE $125 Slow Draft and EIGHT SPOTS LEFT IN THE $325 Slow Draft!! C'mon, let's fill these up.

Yes, Van, we'll e-mail you when this is full with the draft spots and URL for the draft. Keep watching this thread if you can to see when your KDS preferences are due. Right now I'd say send your KDS preferences to me at [email protected] by Monday at noon CST. I think we'll have this filled up by then and hopefully we can start the draft then. Thanks all.

Greg,

When do we pay the $125 fee and under what league? I noticed you have some specific date for the slow draft league. I signed up on the 2/6/09 slow draft league. Will there be a specific date to sign up for this league. As of yet there isn't

I'll play in $125 if it's up next, but prefer $325, so keep me on that list

Didn't Jim Stanard say he would play in the $125 if it filled first (he is in the 325 right now); looks like that would put us at 14.
