Last One: $125 Slow Draft, Draft Champions League

Sorry, I lied. I thought the last $125 Slow Draft, Draft Champions League would be the last one, but it sold out in less than two days so we'll offer one more before Draft Day.

I'll start this list for a $125 offering and start it when we get a full league of 15 teams. Here's our sixth offering at $125 per team:

$125 Entry Fee, Pay $1,000 for first place, $375 for second and $125 for third

It's a slow draft where 3-4 rounds occur per day. 15 teams, 45 rounds, no in-season pickups. What you draft is what you play with all year long. It's more or less a practice event for a lot of folks, but we play it out with the players you draft and we pay the top three finishers. Sound good?

When we get 15 owners signed up on this thread, we'll start the draft the next day.

Ahhhh, it's great to have NFBC Charter Member Will Robertson back with us in 2009 as he has grabbed a spot in the $125 Slow Draft. Will finished 31st overall in the main event last year and with any luck we'll convince him to rejoin us there again this year. Enjoy the Slow Draft Will and then join us for the BIG DANCE!!

greg, just so i know what to expect, what is process after league fills, as far as getting to draft room, invite, draft order, etc, i believe we get an email when league is full, with details, just want to be sure im ready to roll, cause i work till 7, have internet access, but wont it to be smoooth and quick

Then if we're full, we'll randomly pick the draft spots, run the credit cards and send all of the info to Geoff Stein at MockDRaftCentral.com. He will quickly send out an invitation to all 15 owners with the URL for the draft and the draft will start immediately. First one up can pick whenever he has time and it will flow from there. Not everyone will be right at their computer at 6 ET, so if you get to your computer after 7 that's plenty fine. The first round usually takes the longest as everyone settles in and then hopefully it will flow from there. Sound good?

This league has been set up on the registration page as the Feb. 27th $125 draft champions slow draft league. You MUST register online for this league in order to secure a team. Please do so as soon as possible. If you have any questions let me know.

Welcome aboard Denis. Glad to have you in the NFBC for the first time. Enjoy the online championship and I promise you'll enjoy the competition in this Slow Draft as well. This one is 45 rounds, 15 teams, so you'll go deeper here than in any other draft you do this year. Thanks and welcome aboard.
