Ultimate Auction League Is Now Officially Full

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Mar 02, 2009 2:41 am

Great news today: All 15 owners for the Las Vegas Ultimate Auction League are now confirmed and ready to go. We have a full house for that Sunday, March 22nd league at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Brady Tinker will be the auctioneer and Jan and Claire Gustafson will try to keep up with him on the stickers and money count!! :D

Thanks all. This is always a fun, very competitive event and it finishes a great weekend of drafts and auctions in Las Vegas. With the economy what it is, I wasn't sure if we were going to fill this one just in Las Vegas or not, but we had several people change their schedules to make this happen and I'm glad we got all 15 in Las Vegas again. This is the fifth straight year we've held an Ultimate Auction League – heck, Meat Loaf was in the first one – and the tradition continues.

Okay, here's the lineup card for this one. Let me know if you have any special requests with the credit cards or partners or anything like that and I'll tell Jill to start hitting these next Monday. That gives us plenty of time to get the cards right, to clear the transactions, then set the nomination order and get everyone together for this. Awesome.

Here's the lineup card for this special event:

I was in this league its first 3 yrs, haven't been able to make it to Vegas this yr or last, but I really miss the competiton of being in the big leagues. I will make a comeback in this league one day....

What are the live odds??

I'll lay a nickel on Uganski at 6-1 if anyone's takin??

Good luck...

YB Vegas is always fun Yoni, but we certainly miss the Canadian trio for the big money auction leagues. :D Get that Sammy and your other partner to plan for Vegas next year and jump back into this big auction league again. Who knows, maybe the real estate market will be hot again by then. Well, we can dream, right?

Have fun in the two Super Draft leagues and good luck.
